Machu Picchu

Amazing day at Machu Picchu yesterday. Didn't get to climb Waynu Picchu because our guidebook let us down -- Lonely Planet Peru was a bad buy but will save the review for Amazon.com. Nonetheless, we had a great day exploring all of MP and were really sore just from walking the site so actually a little glad we didn't subject ourselves to the extra 2 hr trek up a very steep hill.

Ended the day with a celebratory cerveza at the Sanctuary Lodge hotel and then another at a bar in Aguas Calientes. Then took the 2.5 hour train back to our hotel for a evening massage before retiring early. Had a 4am wakeup call this morning to take a car back to Cusco for our flight to Lima. Now in the lounge waiting for our flight to BA.
