Arrived to airport 5 minutes after checkin closed for our 2:30 pm flight today. Everyone from LAN had disappeared and the AA agent was entirely unhelpful. Next flight to Santiago not until 8:55pm so have had a long day in the airport -- couldn't even get into the long because checkin didn't reopen until 5:30.

Now at Admirals Club and a little happier but still a big bummer (and first tears of the trip, although they didn't last long).

Camera battery is on the fritz so having a McKinsey colleague bring one down to Santiago next week but limited pics till then. Will post what we have tonight.
